Sharma Enterprises

Sharma Enterprises is over at F-3, G-1 on Ramesh Marg in C Scheme. This part of town is always buzzing with people and cars. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for folks to just walk in without dealing with the lift. We have been in C Scheme for a good while now. The rooms are filled with old metal cupboards and stacks of files that we really should sort through one of these days. There is a specific smell of old paper and ink that greets you when you walk in. Sharma ji is usually at the big desk in the back, and the rest of us sit in the front area. We deal with all sorts of general supplies and business needs. It is the kind of place where the phone is always ringing and someone is always looking for a misplaced pen. We take a long break for lunch around 1:30, usually sitting together and sharing whatever we brought from home. The tea guy comes twice a day, and that is when we actually stop working for ten minutes. It’s a very local way of running things. We don't have a big corporate sign, just a small plate by the door. Most of our work comes from people we have known for years. It is just a regular office life on Ramesh Marg, keeping things simple and sticking to the routine we know best.
