Sharma Crafts Centre

Our shop is tucked away in Kishanpole Bazar, specifically in Jhalaniyon Ka Rasta. If you know this part of Jaipur, you know it's narrow and always moving. We’ve got all sorts of crafts stacked up on the shelves and sometimes even on the floor when a new shipment comes in. It’s a bit crowded in here, but that’s just how it is with handmade things. We deal with a lot of local stuff, things that people around here have been making for a long time. Some days it’s quiet and we just organize the inventory, and other days it feels like everyone is stopping by to look at the brass or the woodwork. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us by walking through the market or hearing about us from a neighbor. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it has character. We spend our mornings dusting off the displays and checking what needs to be restocked. It’s a family-run kind of place, so there’s always someone around who knows the history of the items. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show what we have. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to the other shopkeepers when things are slow. It’s just a normal day-to-day business in a busy part of the city. We enjoy the chaos of the bazaar most of the time.
