Sharda Irrigation

The Kaladera Industrial Area in Chomu is a pretty dry place, which is why Sharda Irrigation stays so busy. We are over at G139, surrounded by other factories and workshops that make a lot of noise throughout the day. Our yard is mostly filled with black pipes and heavy metal fittings that sit out in the sun until they’re too hot to touch. We spend our mornings loading up the tempos and making sure the counts are right for the local farmers. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the trolley. The office is just a small room with a desk that’s usually buried under receipts and catalogs. We drink a lot of water because the Chomu heat doesn't mess around, especially in June. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the plastic chairs until it comes back. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; people find us because we’ve been here for years and they know the address. Most of our clothes have some dirt or grease on them by noon, but that’s expected in this line of work. It’s a practical business for a practical area, and we don’t try to make it seem like anything else. We just make sure the equipment gets to where it needs to go so the crops can get some water.
