Seema Arya

The office is at 26 Jaipur G P O Madhav Nagar in Durgapura. One of the main things you notice here is being right opposite the Durgapura Railway Station. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long. It becomes a kind of background music after you have been here for a few weeks. Seema Arya is the name on the door, and the space inside is quite simple. We have a few cupboards for files and a couple of desks that have seen better days. Madhav Nagar is a decent area, and being so close to the station makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic near the crossing can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We usually have the radio playing softly to cover some of the outside noise. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it is hot outside. We don't have any big corporate logos or fancy rugs on the floor. It is just a place where we come to get the day's tasks finished. Sometimes the station announcements are loud enough that we have to pause our conversations for a second. We have a small stove in the back for making tea, which we do quite often. It’s a very plain and practical setup. We don’t really worry about how it looks, as long as we can find what we need to work on for the people who visit us in Durgapura daily.
