Saurashtra Oriental Arts

Our shop, Saurashtra Oriental Arts, is located right at S-6 Amer Road. We are tucked in near the Jorawar Singh Gate, which is a pretty famous landmark around here. If you are standing in front of the Ayurveda College, you just have to look across the street to see us. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. The building is not anything special, but it holds everything we need for the business. We deal in all sorts of oriental arts and pieces that come from different parts of the region. It is often quite hectic on this stretch of road with all the rickshaws and cars going by, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. Inside, the shelves are pretty full. We try to keep things in some kind of order, though it can get messy when we are sorting through new items. It is just a handful of us here doing the daily chores and talking to whoever drops by. We do not have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It is just a local business trying to keep traditional arts moving. We see a lot of students from the college across the way and travelers heading into the old city. We open the shutters every morning and stay until the evening. It is honest work and we enjoy being right in the heart of the city.
