If you find Joraver Singh Gate, you’ll find us right there at number 9. It’s an old part of the city, and you can feel that history every time you walk through the gate. Our office is tucked in there, and it’s always got a bit of a breeze coming through the doorway. It’s a small space, mostly filled with ledger books, boxes, and a few old wooden desks. We spend our time managing exports, which involves a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and shipping agents. The noise from the gate area is constant—rickshaws, bikes, and people walking by all day long. It keeps things interesting, though it can get a bit loud during the peak hours. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner for whoever stops by. The walls are a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep things as tidy as we can. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done. Most of the work is just keeping track of numbers and making sure the crates are packed tight. There’s a rhythm to the day here, starting early before the heat gets too bad and finishing up once the streetlights come on. It’s a busy corner of the world, and we’re just a small part of it.
