Sarveshwar Handicrafts

Down in Gali No 3 of Santosh Sagar, in the Brahmpuri area, is where you will find Sarveshwar Handicrafts. We are at number 81. The street is quite narrow, so you have to be careful if you are coming by on a scooter. It is a busy little lane with a lot of people living and working close together. Our workshop is full of the things we make. There are tools everywhere, and the smell of the materials is very strong when you first walk in. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our work is done on the floor or on low wooden tables. It is dusty work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch time. We have a small window that looks out onto the alley, and we can hear the neighbors talking while we work. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of orders to finish, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local workshop. The people who work here have been doing this for a long time. We know the rhythm of the street and the sounds of the day. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long, but it is what we know. We just keep our heads down and stay busy in our little corner of Brahmpuri. It's a simple, honest way to earn a living without any fuss.
