Saraswati Tuition Centre

We run this tuition centre in Bani Park, specifically at S 4 B on Kabir Marg. Kabir Marg is a nice enough street, and being in Bani Park means we are close to a lot of families. The house we use for the centre still feels like a house. We have the classes in what used to be the living room and the spare bedrooms. Because of that, it feels a bit more relaxed than a formal school. We have a lot of whiteboards that we have screwed into the walls over the years. Some of them have stains from old markers that won't come off anymore. The chairs are a mix of plastic and wood, whatever we could find that was sturdy enough. We do not have any big mission statement or anything like that. We just help kids with their schoolwork and try to make sure they finish their assignments properly. There is a big tree outside that drops leaves all over the entrance, so we are always sweeping the front step. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs bark a bit too much, but you get used to it after a while. It is just a quiet, local operation. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the registers and the spare chalk. It is a bit disorganized sometimes, but we know where everything is.
