Santshree Asharamji Public School

This school is located out on Goner Road in the Govindpura area of Ropada. It is a bit away from the main city buzz, which is nice for the kids and the staff. The building is large and has plenty of open space around it for activities. We have classrooms with basic wooden desks and blackboards that have seen many years of use. In the mornings, you can hear the kids playing outside and talking before the bell rings. It’s a regular school day here with all the usual noise. We have teachers who have been part of the neighborhood for a long time. There is a playground that gets quite dusty when the wind picks up during the summer. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. The walk from the main gate to the office takes a minute or two. We have some trees planted along the boundary wall that provide a little shade for the parked cycles. It isn't a high-tech facility with tablets for everyone. It is just a place for learning and growing up. Parents come by to talk about their children’s progress quite often. The office has a few old cupboards full of files and paper records. It’s a busy place, especially when school lets out and everyone is heading home to the surrounding villages. We just focus on the daily lessons.
