You can find us in Jhotwara, over in Shri Ram Nagar. Our shop is a bit of a mix. We have fancy items like bangles and bindis on one side, and then we do mobile recharges and sell SIM cards on the other. It makes for an interesting day because one minute we are helping someone pick out a gift and the next we are trying to fix a balance issue on a phone. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, so it looks a bit cluttered. We like it that way because it means we have what people need. Shri Ram Nagar is a nice neighborhood, and we know most of the people who walk through the door. We spend a lot of time chatting with the regulars. Sometimes the kids come in for small things after school. It’s a small shop, so if three people come in at once, it feels full. The telecom part of the business keeps us on the phone a lot, talking to the companies. On the fancy side, we have to keep everything dusted, which is hard with the door open to the street. It’s just us running the place. We don't have a big staff. We open up in the morning and stay until late evening. It’s a steady life. We don't do anything special, just provide the basic things our neighbors in Jhotwara are looking for.
