D-50 Bani Park is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Janakeshwar Marg is usually a bit quieter than the main roads which is nice for getting work done. Our building is a bit older and has that solid feel to it. Inside it’s mostly desks and filing cabinets and the sound of keyboards. We handle all sorts of different business things that don't always fit into one category. That is why the name says others I suppose. We have a tea break at eleven and again at four. It is a steady kind of life. We aren't trying to change the world we just want to get the day's tasks finished so we can go home to our families. The stairs creak a little when you walk up to the second floor. We know the security guard at the gate and the guy who delivers the mail every afternoon. Sometimes we have meetings that go on too long because everyone wants to talk about their weekend. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise but it keeps the room cool enough. We keep some plants by the window but we often forget to water them. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to do a decent job. We’ve been in this part of Jaipur for a good while and we like the neighborhood. It’s easy to get to and there are good places nearby to grab a quick snack.
