Saint Mother Teresa Children Academy

This little academy is tucked away at number 63 in Monika Vihar-1. If you know the Manyawas area or New Sanganer Road in Mansarovar, you probably passed by us. Jaipur is getting so crowded these days, but our corner remains a bit quieter for the kids. We mostly look after the younger children here. The building is a regular house style that we converted for classes. It feels more like a home than a big institution which I think helps the little ones not feel so scared on their first day. We spend a lot of time on the basics like reading and numbers. The staff here is mostly local ladies who have been with us for years. We don't have a giant playground, but there is enough space for them to run around during the break. The Jaipur heat can be tough, so we make sure the fans are always running. You can hear the traffic from Mansarovar sometimes, but inside we are focused on the books. Parents drop their kids off on scooters or walk them over from the nearby blocks. It’s a very local operation and we know every child by their name. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors in Monika Vihar. It’s just a simple place for children to start their learning without too much pressure.
