Sai Baba Handicrafts

Our shop, Sai Baba Handicrafts, is located at Shop No. 239 on Gatore Road in Brahampuri. We are quite close to the Karma Haveli Hotel. It’s a busy road, and we get a lot of people passing by on their way to other places. The shop is small and filled from floor to ceiling with different handmade items. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s just a basic shop. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the doors open and use a big pedestal fan in the corner. It gets pretty dusty, but that’s normal for this part of town. We spend our days mostly rearranging the items and talking to the people who wander in. Some of them are just looking around, and that’s fine. We don't have any big sales pitches. We just show them what we have. My brother and I run the place. We do everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to packing up orders. Sometimes we get a big order and we have to work late into the night. We just put on the radio and get it done. The neighborhood is good, and the hotel nearby brings in some interesting people from time to time. We like being in Brahampuri. It feels like home to us. We don't have any grand plans. We just want to keep the shop open and the shelves full for whoever stops by next.
