Our office is over in C Scheme at D 42, specifically room 104 in the Whispring Palms building on Subhash Marg. It’s on the first floor, so you don’t have to climb too many stairs if the lift is acting up, which it occasionally does. S Pabuwal & Co has been around for a while, and we’ve seen C Scheme change from a quiet residential area into a major commercial hub. Subhash Marg is a busy street, but inside Whispring Palms, it stays relatively quiet. The office is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks and shelves filled with tax codes and audit files. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a desk working through some figures. We’ve always preferred a low-key approach. There’s no need for expensive furniture when you’re just trying to get someone’s accounts in order. We know most of the other people in the building, and it feels like a little community. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs and talk shop. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don't put on any acts here. If you come in, you’re just going to see us as we are, likely surrounded by stacks of paper and drinking tea. It’s a practical, local firm that focuses on the work rather than the appearance of the office. We just keep our heads down and get the filing done.
