Ruhani Hair Dresser

If you are in Kotputli and you walk down Putli Road, you will find Ruhani Hair Dresser. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the shop has stayed mostly the same over the years. It is a small place with just enough room for two or three people to work at once. The floor is made of old tile and it is a bit stained, but we keep it swept as much as we can. We get a lot of students and workers coming in because we are right there on the main path. The scissors make a steady clicking sound all day long. I like the feeling of the shop in the late afternoon when the sun starts to go down and the light hits the mirrors in a certain way. We don't have any air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it is on high speed. People come here because they know us and they know they can just sit down and get their hair done without any fuss. We don't talk too much unless the customer wants to, and many of them just like the quiet. It is a simple business in a busy part of Kotputli.
