R.S.Men Hair Art

We are over here at Plot No.101/44 on Kumbha Marg in Pratap Nagar. Most people know the spot because it’s right near the bus depot. The shop is just a regular place where we do hair. It’s not one of those fancy malls. I usually open up early in the morning, sweep the floor, and get the towels ready. There’s a lot of noise from the buses outside, but inside it’s okay. We’ve got a couple of chairs and some mirrors that have been here for years. You see a lot of people coming and going because of the transport nearby. Some guys just want a quick trim before they catch a bus to another city. We talk about whatever is on the news or just the weather. Jaipur gets so hot in May, so everyone wants their hair cut really short then. We use basic stuff, just scissors and a bit of water in a spray bottle. The walls have some old pictures on them. It’s a simple life. Sometimes the kids from Sec 10 come in after school for a cut. I try to keep things tidy, but hair gets everywhere by noon. It’s just how it is. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name painted out front. People find us anyway because we've been here for a good while now. We just sit, talk, and work until it is time to go home.
