Royal Arts & Crafts

Our shop, Royal Arts & Crafts, is tucked away in Jhalaniyon Ka Rasta, which is right inside Kishanpole Bazar. If you know the area, you know it gets crowded with people and carts all day long. We’ve been at number 100 for quite some time. It is a narrow lane, so you have to keep your eyes open. We mostly have traditional items that people around here like. It’s not a huge place, just a standard shop with shelves reaching the ceiling. We spend a lot of time just arranging the items and talking to neighbors. The bazar has a lot of energy. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break. We don't do much advertising because most people find us just by walking through the market. It can be loud with all the shouting and traffic outside, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We have a lot of different crafts, mostly stuff made by local guys we've known for years. It isn’t anything fancy or like those big malls you see now. It is just a regular market shop. We try to keep a good variety so people have choices. If you are in Kishanpole Bazar, you can just ask someone for the rasta and they will point you the right way. We are usually there from mid-morning until the sun goes down and the market slows. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
