You can find Roop Shringar Beauty Parlour at 222/4/4 in Mansarovar. We are on the floor above Sai Electricals on Swarn Path, Madhyam Marg. It’s a busy corner of Jaipur. Having the shop upstairs means it’s a bit quieter than being right on the street level. I like that because it gives a bit more privacy for the ladies. I’ve been running this parlor for years. It’s a small operation. I don't have a lot of expensive equipment. I use what works and what I have learned over time. Most of my customers are from the surrounding blocks in Mansarovar. They know to look for the stairs next to the electrical shop. The interior is simple. I have some pictures on the walls and a few comfortable chairs. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so the fan is always on high. I do a bit of everything here. I don't have a specialty or anything; I just help with whatever is needed. Sometimes the place is full of chatter, and other times it’s just the sound of the scissors. I handle the appointments and the cleaning myself mostly. It’s a lot of work but I’m used to it. We aren't a big brand or a chain. It’s just a local spot where you can come and get sorted out without any fuss. It’s my daily life and I am okay with it.
