Our office is over in Durgapura, specifically at 8, Ekta Path in Shri ji nagar. It is a decent spot in Jaipur and easy enough to find if you know the landmarks around here. R.K. Bansal & Co. is basically just a group of us sitting at our desks making sure numbers add up like they are supposed to. We handle all the usual things a chartered accountant handles, like bookkeeping, tax returns, and some audit work. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment. Usually, there is a fan humming in the corner and someone is probably looking for a misplaced folder. We have been in the 302018 zip code for a good bit now. Most of the people who come to see us are regular folks or small business owners from the neighborhood who just want their taxes sorted out properly. We try to keep things simple because tax law is already complicated enough for everyone. There is no big secret to how we work; we just show up, look at the receipts, and fill out the forms. Sometimes we stay late when the deadlines are close, especially in March. It can be a lot of coffee and late nights during those times. But mostly, it is just steady work here on Ekta Path. We like being part of the local community here in Jaipur and just doing our jobs day in and day out.
