Reliance India Mobile Franchisee

Sitting here in Malviya Nagar at C-160, it feels like the day never really slows down. Being a franchisee for Reliance India Mobile means a lot of people come in with the same problems every day. They have questions about their data balance or why their phone isn't catching the signal properly. The shop isn't very big, so when three or four people are waiting, it starts feeling a bit cramped. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and filling out forms on the computer. Sometimes the system is slow and we just have to sit there and chat with the customer while we wait for the page to load. Outside, the traffic in Malviya Nagar is always humming. We have a glass counter where we keep some of the newer handsets, but mostly it is about the SIM cards and the recharges. I usually eat my lunch right at the desk because you never know when someone is going to walk in needing help with a locked phone. The air conditioner works most of the time, but during the peak summer, it struggles a bit. It is a job where you talk a lot, explaining plans over and over until your throat gets dry. There are piles of brochures on the side table that nobody really looks at, but they stay there anyway. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to come through with a mobile issue.
