Red Bird Industries

You can find us over at Plot No-317 in Ganesh Nagar. We are tucked away near 16, Siwar Mod, just off Sirsi Road. It’s an industrial area, so there are always trucks passing by and the sound of construction nearby. We started this industry because we wanted to build things our own way without having to answer to a big corporation. Our workshop isn't the most modern place, but it has everything we need to get the job done. There are usually three or four of us on the floor at any given time, mostly covered in grease or metal shavings. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, one of us has to stop what we’re doing and answer it with dirty hands. We keep our tools in a specific order, though things usually get a bit scattered by Tuesday. The area around Sirsi Road has changed a lot since we moved in. There are more buildings now, but our little plot stays pretty much the same. We don’t do much fancy talking or sales pitches. We just show people what we’ve made and let them decide. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the work rather than how the office looks. We usually eat lunch together in the back room and talk about the news or the projects we have lined up for next week. It’s a good life for people who like working with their hands and getting things built.
