Raydean Industries

Raydean Industries is located at G1-22 in the RIICO Industrial Area of Bindayaka. It’s out toward Sirsi Road. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of the city, but it’s where all the actual manufacturing happens. We’ve got a workshop that smells like metal and machinery. That’s where we spend most of our time. We make the structures and parts that support solar energy setups. It’s dusty and loud work, but there’s a lot of satisfaction in seeing a pile of raw materials turn into something useful. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning that works all the time. Most of us are more comfortable out on the floor than sitting behind a desk anyway. We’ve been doing this for a few years and have learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. We don’t hire people to write fancy brochures for us. We just show people what we’ve built. The team here is mostly guys from around the neighborhood. We share some food, argue about the cricket scores, and get the work done. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole night fixing it, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t make big promises we can’t keep. We just build the frames and parts as best as we can and send them out to the sites.
