Rastogi Handicrafts

Rastogi Handicrafts is located at A-49 in Laxmi Narayan Puri. We are right by the Suraj Pole Gate, which is a busy part of the city. There’s always a lot of noise and traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the handicrafts. It’s a local business through and through. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage. The space at A-49 is filled with various items we've collected or made over time. It can get a bit dusty because of all the natural materials we use. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Instead, things are just kept on shelves or in boxes until someone needs them. The work is mostly manual. We use our hands and simple instruments to get things done. Sometimes the orders are big and we have to stay late, but usually, we close up at a normal time. Being near Suraj Pole Gate means we see a lot of different people every day. We aren't interested in being a big name. We just want to keep making things that people can use or put in their homes. The building has been here for years, and we’ve become a part of the local scene. It’s just us at Rastogi Handicrafts, doing what we know how to do. No big secrets or fancy plans, just honest work in a crowded neighborhood. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a fan.
