Rastogi Handicraft is right on the C Scheme Main Road. It’s a busy stretch with a lot of shops and people walking by. Our store is filled with all sorts of handicraft items that we’ve collected over time. It’s a bit of a mix, really. You might see some woodwork one day and then some brass items the next. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the main road gets quite a bit of traffic. It’s just a few of us working here. We don’t have a massive team, so we do everything from unpacking crates to talking to people who wander in off the street. The shop doesn’t have a modern look; it’s more traditional and maybe a little cluttered in the corners. We like it that way. It feels more real than those polished showrooms you see in the malls. Sometimes we sit out front in the mornings when it’s still cool before the sun gets too high. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a steady life, just managing the shop and seeing what people are interested in. We don’t do any heavy marketing. People usually find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but it helps keep the place cool during the summer months. It's just how the shop has always been.
