Rangoli Sarees Jaipur

Our shop, Rangoli Sarees Jaipur, is located at S. No. 232-233 in Sarogi Mansion. If you know Bapu Bazar, you probably know the building. It’s a very old and busy part of the city. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The space is filled from floor to ceiling with stock. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when we have a lot of new bundles coming in from the weavers. We spend hours sorting through everything to make sure it's all in the right place. Bapu Bazar is always loud and full of energy, and we are right in the thick of it. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just open the shop early and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and talking to people all day. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going during the long afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out in the mansion and we have to use emergency lights, but no one seems to mind much. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique with perfect lighting. We are just a local shop in a busy market. We know the other shopkeepers around us and we all help each other out when someone needs change or a bit of help moving something heavy. That's just how things work here. We've been part of this bazar for a long time and we like it that way.
