Ranas Silk & Sarees

Ranas Silk & Sarees is situated at No. 1 Ganpati Plaza on M. I. Road. It’s a very busy street, always full of people and cars. We have been in this spot for many years and have seen the city change quite a bit. Our shop is packed with different kinds of silk and sarees. We don't go in for fancy decorations or big sales pitches. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Ganpati Plaza is a place everyone in the area knows. The shop has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, which we like. It’s comfortable and quiet once you step inside from the noise of M. I. Road. We spend a lot of our time folding and unfolding the fabrics to show them. Silk is delicate, so you have to be careful with it. Our staff has been with us for a long time, so we all know how the shop runs. We don't have a big mission or any of that corporate talk. We just focus on having a good selection of sarees on the shelves. Sometimes it gets really hot outside, but the thick walls of the plaza keep us cool enough. We enjoy the routine of opening up the shop every morning and seeing who comes in. It’s a steady way to live and work.
