You can find us at 785 Khanda Atish in the Choti Chaupar area. We are right near Goyal Tent House which is a landmark most people in this part of the city recognize. Choti Chaupar is always full of life and very crowded with shoppers and rickshaws. Our shop is an old-style place that has seen a lot of years go by. We do general trading and supply various things that local businesses need. The walls are a bit faded and we have big heavy ledgers on the desks. We prefer writing things down sometimes instead of just using the computer for everything. It feels more real that way. There is usually a smell of old paper and maybe some incense from the morning prayer. We sit on wooden chairs that have been here for a very long time. Customers come in to talk about their orders and we often end up chatting about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We don't rush around like people in the big modern offices. The street noise outside is just a part of our day. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the traffic. It’s a simple life in a historic part of town. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs our goods to stop by for business.
