This little shop is tucked away in Shyam Puri 5 over in Jhotwara. We spend most of our days working with our hands. It is dusty work sometimes, but that is just how it is with handicrafts. We have piles of stuff everywhere. It might look messy to someone walking in for the first time, but we know where everything is kept. People come here when they want something that isn't made in a giant factory. It’s just a few of us here. Sometimes my cousin helps out when we have a big order to finish. We don't have a big website or anything like that. We mostly just talk to people who stop by the shop. The Jhotwara area is always moving, and we like being part of it. Some of the tools we use are quite old, passed down from my father. They still work fine so there is no reason to change them. We make all sorts of items. It takes time to get things right, so we don't rush. If a piece isn't looking good, we just start over. It is better to do it right than to hurry. We have been at this address for several years now. It is a quiet life mostly. We just enjoy the process of making things from scratch and seeing what we can create with the materials we have.
