Tonk Road is always a mess with traffic, but our spot at Rama Crafts Pvt. Ltd. stays tucked away near the printers. We are located at number four in Printers Nagar-1, right over in Sitabari. If you see Morani Motors, you’re basically there, just look across. It isn’t a fancy place with glass doors or a lobby. It’s a workshop where we get our hands dirty. My brother and I have been doing this for a long time now. We make different craft items. Sometimes it is wood, sometimes other things people ask for. The floor is covered in sawdust most days and the fan makes a clicking noise that we’ve just gotten used to. We don’t have a big team, just a few local guys who know their way around a chisel. We don’t do much on the internet. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors or stop by when they see the sign. It’s a simple way to work. We have a tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. The work isn't always perfect, but it is real and we put the time in. We have lived in this part of town forever. It feels right to have the business here. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just open up in the morning, do the orders we have, and head home when the sun goes down. That’s our life at the shop.
