M R Handicrafts is over at E-216 Ram Nagar Extension. If you are looking for us, we are near the water tank in Sodala. In fact, there are two water tanks nearby, which can be a bit confusing for people who are visiting for the first time. The extension is a residential area that has slowly turned into a place for small businesses like ours. Our space is mostly taken up by work tables and raw materials. We have stuff piled up against the walls and sometimes it spills out into the hallway. Sodala is a busy neighborhood, but our street is a bit more tucked away. We spend our days cutting, shaping, and putting things together. The light comes in through the side window in the morning, which is the best time to work. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. It is a family-run kind of vibe here, even though we aren't all related. We know the guy who sells tea at the corner and the delivery drivers who come by twice a week. The floors are always covered in scraps and dust by the end of the shift. We just clean it up and start again the next morning. It is a simple life and we like being part of the community here near the water tank. We just keep at it day after day.
