Rajput Arts is located at E-104 in Govind Puri, right in the Sodala area. It’s a place where there’s always something being painted or carved. The air usually smells like wood shavings or a bit of paint, depending on what we’re working on that day. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a workshop where we take our time with each piece. Sometimes we get behind on things because we’re trying to get a specific detail right and it takes longer than we thought. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Usually, it’s just the owner or one of the staff showing people around the shop. Sodala is a busy place, and we have people dropping in just to see what’s new. We’ve been here for years, and most of our neighbors know us by now. We don't use any high-tech machines, mostly just the same hand tools we’ve used for a long time. It can get a bit messy with all the scraps on the floor, but we clean up every Saturday before heading home for the weekend. We don't really have a big five-year plan, we just want to keep making things that people like to look at. It’s a lot of hard work on your hands and back, but we enjoy the routine of it. It’s nice to see something finished after working on it for a week or two. We’re just regular people.
