Rajok Enterprises

You will find Rajok Enterprises at 1203 Partaniyon Ka Rasta which is right in the middle of Johri Bazar. If you know the bazar you know how crowded and tight the lanes are. Our shop is tucked away in one of those narrow paths where you can barely fit a scooter sometimes. It is an old building with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. We have been in this spot for a long time and the walls are filled with old shelves. Most of our work involves trading and dealing with various items that come through the market. There is always a smell of incense and old paper in the air. During the festival seasons the whole lane gets so packed that we can hardly get the shutters open. We sit on the floor mostly while working because it is more comfortable that way. The tea vendor knows our order by heart and brings it every afternoon without us even asking. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by wandering down the Rasta. It gets very noisy with the tourists and the shoppers outside but inside it is relatively quiet. We just keep track of our ledgers and talk to the people who drop by. It is a slow and steady life in the heart of the old city. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby temples come onto the roof and make a lot of noise which is just part of living in this area.
