Rajendra Hair Art

We've been here in Sanganer for a while now. The shop, Rajendra Hair Art, is right near the CTS bus stand, so you always hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. It gets pretty dusty with all that traffic, but that is just how it is around here in Jaipur. Usually, I get here early to open up the shutters and sweep out the front before the sun gets too high. 302030 is a busy area, lots of people moving back and forth to work. Inside, it is just the usual setup. Some chairs, big mirrors that need wiping down every hour, and the radio playing in the background. Sometimes the bus drivers stop by for a quick bit of grooming when they have a break. You see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly locals who live around the stand or work in the nearby shops. It is not a fancy place, just a regular spot where people come to get their hair sorted. The chairs are a bit old, and the fan makes a clicking noise when it is on high, but it keeps the air moving. We don't really do much besides the work. Sometimes when it is quiet, I just sit by the door and watch the crowds at the bus stand. It is a lot of waiting and working, day in and day out. Nothing too complicated, just a small business trying to keep going in this part of town.
