Rajdhani Crafts

Our place is in the V.K.I. Area on Road No. 9-J. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the other units nearby. We are at C-180. It is a functional space where we handle all our craft production. We have bins of materials and half-finished projects sitting on the floor. It is not the kind of place you visit for a fancy shopping experience. It is where the actual work happens. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know exactly what they are doing. We mostly focus on getting orders filled and sent out to the trucks that come through the industrial area. Life here is about the schedule and making sure things are okay before they go into boxes. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it is for shipping labels. Most of the day is spent on the floor or at the workbenches. It is a lot of standing and moving things around. The V.K.I. Area is always humming with activity, and we are just one part of that. We show up early and leave when the work is finished for the day. It is hard work but it pays the bills and keeps us all busy.
