Rajasthani Handicraft

Rajasthani Handicraft is situated right near the Chandra Gupt Hotel. We are over by Sindhi Camp on M I Road, which is a very busy part of the city. Being near the bus stand means there's always someone walking by. Our shop is full of the usual things you’d expect from this region. We have shelves packed with items, and sometimes it's hard to see everything at once. It's a bit of a squeeze when we get more than three people inside. We’ve been here for years, watching the traffic change on M I Road. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a plain front with a lot of stuff inside. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a notebook to keep track of what we sell. Sometimes we forget to write things down immediately when it gets hectic. It’s mostly just me and a cousin running the place. We talk to the travelers who are waiting for their buses. They often want a small souvenir to take home. We try to keep prices fair so people don't feel like they're getting cheated just because they're tourists. The dust from the road gets in everywhere, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It is a humble shop, nothing more, nothing less. If you're waiting for a bus at Sindhi Camp, you can find us easily. We are usually here from early morning until late evening when the last buses go.
