Rajasthan Polymer House

Our place is in Sodala, over at Gulabi Nagar 5. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes. Different kinds of polymer products and materials are what we handle. Most of the time, the shop is filled with rolls of plastic or bags of raw materials. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get around the inventory sometimes. Answering the phone and helping people look for specific sheets or pipes takes up the day. Because the sun beats down on the front door in the morning, the shutter stays halfway down. This is just a regular small business. Fancy displays and marketing teams aren't things we have. We just know our products well enough to say what will work for a project. Helping load stuff onto a rickshaw or a small truck is part of the job. It’s physical work and your back definitely feels it by evening. Keeping the books updated is a priority, but we fall behind when it gets busy. People in Sodala are friendly, and we know most of the other shop owners on this block. Having been here so long, we don’t need a map for the back alleys. Usually, the street gets crowded in the evenings, making it hard to move large items out. We just wait for a gap in the traffic to get the deliveries moving. It is a simple operation and we try to keep it steady.
