Our workshop is at 9, Gupta Garden, in Govind Nagar West. It’s just off Amer Road, which is always full of tourists and locals. Rajasthan Handloom & Handicraft Industries has been in this spot for years. We deal with a lot of traditional fabrics and handmade items. You can often see the bright colors of the handlooms when you walk in. It’s not a polished store; it’s more of a place where things are made and stored. The air usually smells like textiles and dye. We don't really do the whole modern marketing thing. We just focus on the handicrafts. Amer Road is a busy place to be, but Gupta Garden is a little bit tucked away from the main noise. We have a few people working here who have been with us for a long time. It’s a slow, careful process making these things. We don't rush it. Sometimes people stop by just to see what we are making. We don't mind. We just keep working on the looms. It’s a tradition for us. We are proud of what we do, but we don't feel the need to shout about it. We just stay here in Govind Nagar and keep the old ways going. It is a quiet life in a busy city. We take things as they come and focus on the threads in front of us. It is enough for us.
