Our shop is tucked away at 17/47 Amer Road in Nandpur Colony. If you go behind the Jain Temple, you will find us there. Raj Kumar Handicarfts & Patch Works Ind is mostly a place full of fabric and tools. There’s always someone working on a piece of patchwork or sorting through materials. It’s a bit cramped inside because of all the stock we keep. The light comes in through the small windows, and you can hear the bells from the temple sometimes in the morning. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main road. We spend a lot of time just sitting and working with our hands. Sometimes the colors of the threads get mixed up, and we have to spend an hour sorting them out. Neighbors walk by and say hello, it’s that kind of place. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. People who need us usually know where to turn off Amer Road. The work is slow and takes patience. My hands are usually stained or tired by the end of the shift. We just focus on the pieces we are making. It’s just Raj Kumar Handicarfts & Patch Works Ind, a small spot in Nandpur Colony. We don't do much else besides the craft work. It keeps us busy and the days go by pretty fast when there is a lot to finish. The tea we make here is pretty strong.
