Raj Hair Dressars

We are set up in Pratap Nagar, specifically at Shop 3 in Sector 8 along Bhamasha Marg. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city markets. The shop is just a simple room with the basic stuff needed for hair cutting. I started this because I needed work and I knew how to handle a pair of shears. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar or a picture. The sunlight comes in through the front door in the morning. Most people around here are regulars. They live in the blocks nearby and stop by on their way home. It’s a routine. You wash the towels, you sweep the floor, you wait for the next person. Sometimes it’s slow and I just sit on the stool out front and watch the cars go by on Bhamasha Marg. It’s not a big business with many employees. It’s just a local spot for a haircut. We don't try to be something we aren't. If the chair is comfortable and the mirror is clean, that’s usually enough for most folks. I’ve been in Jaipur for a long time and this sector has grown a lot. There are more houses now than when I first opened. But the work stays the same. You just keep cutting hair and talking to the neighbors. That’s the way it is.
