Bajaj Thread Industries

The machines at P. No.- 6, Gulab Bari are almost always running. If you walk down Factory Area Road here in Jhotwara, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. Bajaj Thread Industries started small and we’ve mostly stayed focused on just making thread without a lot of fuss. The road outside is always dusty because of the trucks coming in and out of the industrial area. It gets pretty hot in the factory during the summer months, but we’ve got a couple of big fans that keep the air moving enough to get by. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs to be done. We keep the spools stacked up against the walls and there’s always bits of lint floating around in the air. Sometimes the power goes out in Jhotwara and everything goes quiet, which is a bit strange after hearing the hum all day. We use that time to sit outside or check the machines. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just make the thread, pack it into bags, and send it off to wherever it’s needed next. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. People know where to find us in Gulab Bari if they need anything specific or just want to check on an order.
