Basant Packaging

We are located over on Gaya Guru Street, which is just off Gaitor Road in Brahmpuri. Our address is number 101, and it is a place we have called home for many years. Basant Packaging is not a huge operation by any means. It is mostly just a few of us working in a space that is filled right up to the ceiling with rolls of material and stacks of finished products. Brahmpuri is a very lively neighborhood, and you can always hear the sounds of the street and people talking from inside our shop. We do not have a shiny storefront or any big neon signs. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they have been coming here for a long time. The work is repetitive, but it requires a very steady hand. We spend a lot of our time measuring and cutting things to size. The floor gets covered in tiny scraps of paper and plastic by the afternoon, so we have to sweep it all up before we can leave. It is a simple routine that we follow every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow street, so we end up carrying things out to the main road ourselves. It keeps us moving, at least. We do not use any complicated computer systems to run things here. A simple notebook and a pen usually do the trick for keeping track of what is going out. We are just an honest local business.
