Raj Darshan Handicrafts

You can find us at P- 14 in Om Shiv Colony, which is over in the Jhotwara area. We are fairly close to the Sri Ram Mandir and not too far from Triton Mall. It’s a residential neighborhood mostly, so it’s not as loud as the city center. Raj Darshan Handicrafts is run out of this space where we have enough room to keep our inventory. We mostly deal with traditional items that people like to put in their homes. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure orders get packed and sent out. We get a lot of local visitors who live nearby. Sometimes people get a bit lost finding the street, but once you see the temple, you’re basically here. We don't have a glossy catalog or anything. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come by and we show them the stock. The walls are a bit bare and we use old desks for our work, but it serves the purpose. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s had its ups and downs like any other small business, but we are still here doing what we do. We spend a lot of time just organizing the shelves and talking to the delivery drivers who come by. It’s a quiet life for the most part, away from the main road. We don't mind the slower pace at all.
