Rai Publication

We’ve been running Rai Publication for quite some time now over at Shop No. 24-25 in Bhagwan Das Market. If you know Chaura Rasta, you probably know where the market is. It stays pretty busy around here most days. We handle a lot of different books and printing stuff for the people who come by. It’s mostly just us working through the daily orders and making sure everything gets out on time. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with all the paper and boxes lying around, but we manage. People come in looking for specific titles or just to see what’s new on the shelves. We don't have a big fancy office, just the two shops joined together. Most of our day is spent talking to students or teachers who stop by. We try to keep things organized, but on busy mornings it can be a bit of a scramble. The market itself has a lot of history, and we’re just one small part of it. We don't do much advertising, mostly just folks who’ve been coming here for years telling their friends. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the latest editions and making sure we have what people need. We usually open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking the stock or helping someone find a particular guide. It’s just a normal book shop doing its thing every day.
