Rahul Mobile Shop is on Khatipura Road, right at number 10. It’s a small shop, maybe smaller than you’d expect. We’ve got a workbench in the back where we do all the repairs, mostly fixing cracked screens or changing out batteries that don't hold a charge anymore. The front has a small display for covers and cables. Khatipura Road is always loud with bikes and cars, so there’s a constant buzz coming from the street. We don't have a team of technicians, just Rahul and a friend who helps out when it gets busy. We’ve got tools scattered across the table and a magnifying lamp that gets a lot of use. Sometimes we can't fix a phone because the parts aren't available, and we just tell people that straight up. We don't like to overcomplicate things. People come in with their phones and we see what we can do. Most of the time, we’re just talking about the latest models or helping someone set up their email. It’s a simple neighborhood shop. We don't have fancy uniforms or a logo on everything. The floor is just plain tiles and we’ve got a small stool for customers to sit on while they wait. It’s not a big corporate outlet, just a local spot for people to get their tech sorted out. We usually keep the doors open until eight in the evening or so, unless we have to run an errand in the market nearby.
