Radhika Gents Parlour

Started the shop here on Maharana Pratap Road quite a while ago. It is right in front of Ratan Marriege Garden, so we see a lot of people coming and going during the wedding season. Panchyawala is a quiet area mostly, but our corner stays busy. The shop isn't huge, just some chairs and mirrors, but it works. I open up early every day because people want a shave before they go to their jobs. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. We have a small bench outside where guys sit and wait if the chairs are full. Usually, they just look at their phones or talk about the local news. It’s a simple setup at Shop No-1. We don’t do anything fancy, just the regular haircuts and beard trims. The fan makes a bit of noise when it's on high speed, but it keeps the Jaipur heat away mostly. My friend runs the tea stall nearby, so we get chai delivered right to the door. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets loud, especially when there's a big party at the garden across from us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. More shops have come up, but we stay right here doing what we do. It’s just daily life for us, keeping things running and making sure everyone leaves looking a bit neater than when they walked in.
