Down at 264 Gomes Defence Colony, near the Vaishali Nagar Circle, is where you will find us. It’s a decent area and being close to the circle makes it easy to explain to people where we are located. Radhika Fashion Enterprises isn't a huge setup, just a local place where we handle a lot of fabric and clothing orders. Most days it’s just the sound of sewing machines and people talking over the radio in the background. We have racks of things everywhere and sometimes it feels like we are running out of floor space. The morning sun hits the front window quite hard so we usually keep the blinds halfway down until it cools off. It is a lot of repetitive work, cutting and stitching and checking the seams, but it’s what we know. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything because the people in the colony already know we are here. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a big shipment arrives and we have to move all the tables around to make room. It’s just a normal workplace with real people trying to get the orders finished on time. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It’s not the most exciting job but it's our livelihood and we take it seriously enough without making a big deal out of it.
