Radha Govind Bangles & Handicraft

Our little place is at number 6, Govind Rao Ji Ka Rasta, near the Jaipur G P O. It is a very old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow, so it is best to walk if you are coming to see us. We focus on bangles and various small handicrafts that we put together right here. There are boxes of beads and glass everywhere you look. It can get a bit chaotic during the wedding season when everyone wants something specific. We do not have a fancy air-conditioned shop. We just have a few fans and the doors open to the street. It gets dusty, and we have to wipe down the counters every couple of hours. We are not professional writers or anything, so we do not have much to say other than we work hard every day. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait for someone to walk in, and other days we can barely keep up with the requests. We use old tools that have been passed down through the family, and we do not see any reason to change them. The colors of the bangles are bright, which cheers up the place even when the walls look a bit dull. We just want to keep the tradition going and earn enough to keep the lights on. It is a simple way to live and we are content with it.
