R P Vijay & Co is over in Jyoti Nagar, specifically at 14 K/3 in Vidyut Bhawan. It is a pretty well-known building in this area. We’ve been based here for a while, and the office has become a second home to us. It’s a standard office setup, nothing fancy to look at. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of paper. Being in Vidyut Bhawan means we are right in the middle of things in Jyoti Nagar. The hallways can be a bit dim, but our office is bright enough once you step inside. We spend our days going through accounts and filing returns. It is the kind of work that requires a lot of focus, so we try to keep things organized. The furniture is a bit old, but it does the job. We don’t see the need to upgrade things just for the sake of it. Most of the people who come to see us are regulars. They know where the office is and they know how we operate. We just get on with the tasks at hand. There’s always a bit of a hum from the street outside, but it’s mostly just background noise. We keep a pot of tea going for anyone who stops by. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We usually have the fans going full speed during the summer to keep the heat away while we finish the yearly audits. The plants on the windowsill don't get much sun, but they survive somehow.
