R K Public Senior Secondary School is tucked away on Gandhi Path in the Vaishali Nagar area of Jaipur. We’ve been at this address, A-183 on Shiv Mg, for a long time. People around here know us as a regular neighborhood school where kids can get their education without too much fuss. Jaipur is growing fast and this area is getting busier every year, but inside our walls, we try to keep things focused on the books. Our staff is mostly local folks who understand the neighborhood. We don’t have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. We just have teachers who show up, teach their lessons, and help the kids. The building is a typical Jaipur structure, it’s sturdy and has seen a lot of students pass through its doors. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure the kids understand their math and science. It’s not always easy keeping everyone quiet and focused, but we do our best. We have a small yard where they play during the breaks. Parents come by to talk about grades or just to see how things are going. We try to be honest with them. If a kid is struggling, we say so. It’s a practical place for learning. We’re just part of the local scenery here on Gandhi Path, doing our bit for the kids and their families who trust us with their education every single day of the week.
