R K Kumawat & Co is based at 9 Vkia Road No 1. We are in the Om Shanti Bhawan building, which is right opposite the Jyoti Petrol Pump. This is a very handy landmark because almost everyone knows where that petrol pump is. Being in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area, or VKIA, means we are surrounded by a lot of activity. Road No 1 is a main route for trucks and commercial vehicles. It gets quite busy and the air is often full of dust from the road. Our office at number 9 is a very basic setup. We have what we need to do our jobs, and not much else. Om Shanti Bhawan is a sturdy building that has been here for a long time. Inside, we have our desks and a lot of cabinets for all our records. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big missions. We just show up every day and do the work that is in front of us. The view from the office is mostly the petrol pump and the vehicles passing by on Road No 1. It’s a very practical place to be. We are a small group and we prefer it that way. No one is wearing expensive suits here; we just dress for the work and the weather. We have a routine that works for us, and being in the heart of the industrial area feels right for what we do.
